A small bedside table that was quickly scanned by Artec Eva in three passes. The thin legs might have been a challenge if they had not been scanned with a backdrop (the wall and floor). Otherwise, a truly-easy-to-scan piece of furniture. Despite the brief scanning time of only 5 minutes, the volume of detail awaiting the viewer is fantastic.

For example, the various colours and patterns of woodgrain are all present, together with the usual wear and tear expected for furniture that’s seen everyday life among people. An ideal model for a designer or manufacturer looking to modify an existing furniture piece, to reverse engineer it, or design an entirely new creation altogether.
