Decorative Plate 3D Model

This decorative plate 3D model was captured with an Artec 3D Scanner.

Even though this plate has a thin and narrow edge, which can be highly problematic for 3D scanners to effectively capture, Artec Space Spider scanned it with ease, using the texture of the background to register the front and back sides with precision and accuracy. The intricate design has been captured in its entirety, as well as the vibrant colours and contrasts across the circumference of the plate. With such a lifelike 3D model, it would be easy to reverse-engineer a duplicate, as well as use the model for creating a similar plate without having to start from scratch.
