Decorative Vase 3D Model

This decorative vase 3D model was captured with an Artec 3D Scanner.

  • Scanning time:  1 min
  • Processing time: 5 min
  • Scanner used: Artec Eva

The geometry of this vase is symmetrical and normally would have been difficult to scan, but thanks to the rich texture scanning with Eva was fast and very easy. As is visible in the model, the shiny nature of the vase’s glaze was no problem for Eva.

The many various shades of colours used by the artist, as well as the dynamic shapes and patterns across the contours of the vase were all captured with remarkable accuracy. Even the interior of the vase, often a challenging task for 3D scanners, has been rendered authentically.
