Functional Form-and-fit Prototypes
TriMech can develop “looks like, feels like” prototypes with realistic detailing, actual sizing and actual weight, prior to additional production investment.
Less Expensive Production
An SLA 3D printed part requires no or limited post-processing, providing an ideal base for paint finishes and allowing quick, efficient project completion.
Fast Turnaround
Traditional methods of model making can be a time-consuming process, with models lacking the accuracy and detail.
Why Stereolithography (SLA) 3D printed parts?
Stereolithography (SLA) is the first choice for producing complex geometries with excellent accuracy and the best surface finish. TriMech offers SLA ultra-high resolution and ultra-large SLA-printed parts with a choice of materials to meet your project needs.
TriMech’s SLA technology produces incredibly small and extremely large prototypes with incredible accuracy, utilizing a variable-diameter laser beam that refocuses every millisecond to define high-precision features.
TriMech offers many Stereolithography materials to choose from, including glass clear, high-impact strength, high heat-resistant and Class VI medical grade.
Stereolithography Production Benefits

Open-resin systems
Stereolithography works by focusing a UV laser onto a vat of photo-curable resin. As the laser draws a shape on the surface of the photopolymer, the resin solidifies and forms a single layer of the desired 3D object.
The process repeats for each layer of the design until the 3D object is completed.

Variety of materials
In partnership with Covestro Additive Manufacturing (formerly DSM) and its Somos® resins, TriMech can print the most technically advanced stereolithography materials.
This provides you with the ability to find materials that will fit your individual mechanical, physical and cosmetic needs.

Less finishing time required
Designers and engineers from industries like F1 that require high volume, large part
printing choose Stereolithography services.
Because SLA parts do not require sanding and polishing, we can reduce finishing time by up to 50%, resulting in considerable time and costs savings for you, as well as faster time to market.
