Why Stereolithography (SLA) 3D printed parts?
Stereolithography (SLA) is the first choice for producing complex geometries with excellent accuracy and the best surface finish. TriMech offers SLA ultra-high resolution and ultra-large SLA-printed parts with a choice of resin 3D printing materials to meet your project needs.
TriMech’s SLA 3D printing technology produces incredibly small and extremely large prototypes with incredible accuracy and smooth surface finish utilizing a variable-diameter laser beam that refocuses every millisecond to define high-precision features.
TriMech offers many SLA materials to choose from, including glass clear, high-impact strength, high heat-resistant and Class VI medical grade.
Stereolithography Production Features

Open-resin systems
SLA works by focusing a UV laser onto a vat of photo-curable resin. As the laser draws a shape on the surface of the photopolymer, the resin solidifies and forms a single layer of the desired 3D object.
The process repeats layer by layer of the design until the 3D object is completed.
Variety of materials
In partnership with Covestro Additive Manufacturing (formerly DSM) and its Somos® resins, TriMech can print the most technically advanced SLA materials.
This provides you with the ability to find materials that will fit your individual mechanical, physical and cosmetic needs.

Less finishing time required
Designers and engineers from industries like F1 that require high volume, large part 3D printing choose Stereolithography services.
Because SLA parts do not require sanding and polishing, we can reduce finishing time by up to 50%, resulting in considerable time and costs savings for you, as well as faster time to market.
