Standard Depowdering & Blasting System

The PostPro DP/SB is constructed as one compact unit, incorporating the blasting area and cyclone to minimize the machine footprint. Its size makes it perfect for medium-volume production thanks to its large 30L basket and shared manual blasting area.

Suitable for all common abrasives and surface finishing media such as glass beads, polybeads, corundum, ceramics, nut shells, plastics and fine sizes of stainless steel and steel.

Why Automated Depowdering?

Depowdering is the first step in post-processing parts printed with powder-based technologies such as selective laser sintering (SLS) or multi-jet fusion (MJF).

It is a process in which residual powder is cleared from 3D printed parts using compressed air and blasting media, without damaging the intricate details of the print. Correct depowdering is essential for the part’s functionality and prepares it for any further post-processing steps, such as surface blasting or vapor smoothing.

30 Litre (Ø600 x 400 mm) basket is equipped with a soft plastic liner and is large enough to fit almost any part size.

Ionization unit

The PostPro DP/SB is equipped with an ionization unit to reduce static build-up during the process, leaving parts dust-free without the requirement for additional cleaning steps.

Dual blasting guns

In addition to manually adjustable baskets and nozzles, the PostPro DP/SB has two blasting nozzles to maximise blasting performance and reduce processing time.

Touchscreen control

Experience a new level of control with a touchscreen and integrated control panel.

Cyclone
