WRAP Cure was designed to process the full build dimensions of the Stratasys Origin One 3D Printer. To use the automatic rotating function, the largest part size is 9.5 in. dia. x 4 in. ht. When using the optional plexiglass manual table, the largest part is 9.5 x 11.5 x 5 in., with manual positioning required.

The WRAP Cure is also a 3D printer, and not a waste processing machine. It functions in the same way as other 3D printing technologies such as PolyJet, Stereolithography, or DLP, using the same UV light cured resins.

Like all 3D printers, the WRAP Cure does not require a TDSF (Treatment, Storage, and Disposal Facilities) permit from the EPA (Environmental Protection Agency).

The WRAP Cure printer transforms UV waste resin into solid plastic stock. The zero-cost plastic is ideal for CNC mills and lathes to generate machined prototypes, jigs and fixtures, or simply to prove a new program which saves potential waste of expensive end-use materials.

Easy operation, no monitoring required

The Onulis WRAP Plus is fully automatic and will shut down after its set time, or when the disposable tube is fully printed, whichever comes first. In the event of facility power failure, the machine will automatically shut down.

  1. Does WRAP Cure adhere to material manufacturer’s specifications?
    Yes, WRAP Cure proves a 405 nm wavelength, which is recommended by DLP material manufacturers. The duration of curing is different for each material and can be found on the manufacturer’s specification sheet.
  2. Are the LED lights broad spectrum?
    The UV LED lamps operate at a 405 nm wavelength. Please refer to the material-specific process sheet for time requirements when post-curing using 405 nm.
  3. What material is the table made from?
    The turntable is made from scratch resistant cast acrylic.
  4. What is the largest part I can cure?
    WRAP Cure was designed to process the full build dimensions of the Origin One. To use the automatic rotating function, the largest part size is 9.5 in. dia. x 4 in. ht. When using the optional plexiglass manual table, the largest part is 9.5 x 11.5 x 5 in., with manual positioning required.
  1. Do I need to monitor parts during curing?
    No, WRAP Cure is fully automatic. During operation, the machine runs a pre-heating chamber conditioning, and then adjusts to cure parts, according to the pre-programmed timing function. When the pre-programmed timer has ended, the machine will automatically turn off.
  2. Can WRAP Cure be used in an office environment?
    The printer comes with built-in carbon filtration; however, it is intended to be used in a well-ventilated warehouse or factory environment. If an office environment is required, use of the Onulis exhaust adapter is needed for proper ducting.
  3. What maintenance does WRAPCure require?
    When in curing mode, wipe the Rotating Table with isopropyl alcohol after each use. When in printing mode, spray the Vat comb with isopropyl alcohol and empty the Resin Catch into the Vat after each use.
  4. What WRAP Cure items are considered consumables?
    There are no consumable items for WRAP Cure. For printing mode, the Vats and the Disposable Tube Bundle (Disposable Tubes, Light Shrouds, and Filler Filters) are all considered consumables and as such are not covered under the warranty or Total Care Maintenance Plan. Consumables can be ordered from TriMech.
